Boo Berry Cereal Gets a Make-over!

We have had a box of Boo Berry cereal in our pantry for a few months.  My oldest two children will not eat it.  My youngest son will only eat the marshmallows.  I thought the box needed a make-over to get my kids to eat it so it doesn't go to waste!

I laid the cereal box on a piece of white paper and traced it with a pencil.  Then, I cut out the rectangular shape.

I asked my son if he could make a new cover for the cereal box.  He immediately ran to his room to get his new set of markers. When he came back he grabbed his black marker and said, "I needed this one!" 

We talked about all the parts of a cereal box -- picture, brand name, nutritional information, etc.  He wanted to start by drawing a picture of the Three Ghost Friends.

Once his cover was complete, he used a glue stick to glue the back of the paper and applied it to the front of the box.

I think General Mills might call to hire him as a cereal box illustrator!

Maybe now they will eat the cereal!
