Three Ghost Friends Halloween Sort
 |
Three Ghost Friends Halloween Sort can be used as a toddler busy bag, shoe box task activity, work basket, preschool center activity, or a tot school activity. |
What You Need:
1. 9 cups or containers (I used small Solo brand cups.)
2. Box and masking tape (This is not necessary, but I chose to contain my cups in a box.)
3. 36 tongue depressors/craft sticks/popsicle sticks
4. Glue
5. Heavy paper/Cardstock
5.
Download and print the Halloween Three Ghost Friends Character Sheet
Directions:
 |
First, download and print the activity sheets on card stock paper. Then, cut out each character. |
 |
I had my son cut out the characters while I constructed the sorting box. I placed masking tape under each cup to hold them in the box. |
 |
I dabbed glue on the end of each tongue depressor and my son placed on the characters. |
 |
I placed one character -- a mummy, a pumpkin, a goblin, etc. -- in each cup. |
 |
I told my two-year-old son to sort the rest of the characters into each cup. |
 |
This would be a great preschool or day care center activity for the month of October! |
This activity was designed to accompany Three Ghost Friends: Learn About the ABCs - Halloween Edition, an eBook available at the Apple iBookstore using the iBooks App.
Great Halloween sorting activity, Eric! It looks very inviting and is great for eye-hand coordination as well as sorting! I pinned your post to my Kids' Halloween Activities Pinterest Board at http://pinterest.com/debchitwood/kids-halloween-activities/
